intive Nominated for the UX Design Award 2021

For the third time in a row, intive is taking part in the UX Design Awards – one of the most prestigious design contests in the world. This year, the jury has selected intive’s sensXPERT project designed for the NETZSCH Group to contend in the final round of the competition in the “Product” category.

sensXPERT is a unique solution targeting any industry that uses production lines for plastics and composite part manufacturing, such as automotive, aerospace, wind energy or construction. There is no comparable product on the market: by combining real-time data from sensors with advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms, the intelligent sensXPERT system adds vital transparency to the plastics production process, reduces scrap, and opens a vast range of efficiency improvements for manufacturing plants.

sensXpert has captured the attention of the UX Design Awards jury with its focus on simplicity, traceability and easy access to data offered to users. It epitomizes intive’s designers’ usability-first approach, featuring user-friendly workflows and customizable dashboards for enhanced interaction, making it extremely easy for manufacturers to monitor and control different aspects of the production process. With the introduction of convenient filtering, adjustable notifications for key events, and documentation options, sensXPERT significantly improves the experience of the users who manage large volumes of data.

“From the beginning, actual target users were involved in the design and development process. This ensured that our design team never lost track of the user-centered approach and developed a solution that addresses and solves users’ real needs.” – said Michael Ehrnböck, Principal Design Strategist at intive.

“We are grateful to intive’s design team that has set the highest standards for innovation and creativity in developing sensXPERT with us. They have helped to translate our vision into a great, user-friendly solution that provides seamless user experiences and delivers business value at the same time.”– said Dr. Alexander Chaloupka, Head of Product and Solutions sensXPERT at the NETZSCH.
