Johannes Dornisch will be the first CDO in the company’s over two-decade history. The new role signals intive’s strategic focus on people-centric design of digital products and services, and the growing importance of in-depth design practices in the company’s road ahead. The digital powerhouse supports market leaders across industries with global engineering teams and domain-specific experts, but it’s the award-winning design and the holistic approach to digital transformation that make the company stand out in the market.
Announcing Johannes’ appointment, intive’s CCO Rolf Pasel said: “As we continue to innovate and reimagine products and services in partnership with new and especially long-standing clients, the establishment of a Global Design Office is a natural next step in our development. Our model of continuous product discovery and delivery of digital products has proved successful and we are seeing an increasing demand for our design and engineering services. Our numerous design recognitions, including two Red Dot Design Awards and the iF Design Award, position our creatives among top designers in Europe.”
Johannes’ new role will encompass further development of intive’s design capabilities and thought leadership. “Our clients don’t innovate for the sake of it – they do it for long-term business value. We support them with a human-centered design mindset that yields the best results” – said Johannes. “We start from R&D projects and prototypes and then turn visionary ideas into tangible products. In the process of continuous learning and iterating, we optimize them along the way. That’s how we’ve always worked with our clients and how we’ve created significant digital experiences together. I’m happy I can further generate business impact for our clients in my new role.”
