intive signs the Diversity Charters in Germany and Poland

Munich, Germany – December 28, 2020 – intive today announced an update on its diversity management policies. The company, in line with its commitment to promote diversity in the workplace and foster sustainable and inclusive business growth, signed the Diversity Charters in Germany and Poland. In Argentina, where the initiative supported by the European Commission doesn’t apply, intive signed an internal document based on the European charters.

intive joined the group of signatories supporting the Diversity Charters in Germany and Poland and signed an internal commitment in line with the European charters in Argentina. By signing the documents, intive commits itself to better recognizing the diversity of society inside and outside the company and to continue driving diversity-oriented campaigns and activities aimed at ensuring equal opportunities in policies and procedures applied throughout the organization. The Diversity Charters also oblige intive to prepare annual reports on relevant activities that will enable tracking progress in this area.

intive drives equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace with regulations included in its Code of Conduct, procedures counteracting discrimination and mobbing, a whistleblowing platform, dedicated roles of LGBT+ Ambassadors as well as workshops and webinars for employees. “Signing the Diversity Charters was a natural next step in our journey towards creating more awareness and contributing to an inclusive and non-discriminatory working environment for everyone,” said Tamara Fluss, Chief Human Resources Officer at intive. “We’re a global company and we work with global clients. We are well aware of the benefits of diversity at the workplace and I’m very happy we’re setting the bar higher for the years to come.”

The Diversity Charter was first established in France in 2004 when 33 companies came together to agree on introducing policies that would make it easier to advance equal treatment in the workplace and protect diversity. Organizations committed to ensuring regulatory provisions such as prevention of discrimination and mobbing, and equal treatment policies. Moreover, on a voluntary basis, they decided to take positive actions, educate their employees, communicate their engagement internally and externally, and introduce diversity management. Following the example set by France, other European countries established their autonomous documents, adjusted to their specific context. Diversity Charters are to be introduced in all countries of the European Union.

intive operates internationally, inside and outside the European Union. In Argentina, the company decided to introduce an internal document based on the two charters signed in Germany and Poland. “Protecting diversity and equality is about being proactive rather than reactive,” said Francisco Ronconi, HR Director Argentina at intive. “Our engagement in this area has always been an integral part of our activities in Argentina. I’m proud of our diversity-driven initiatives so far and I believe we can still achieve more. The newly signed document that mirrors the European charters complements and broadens our efforts.”
