Munich, Germany – February 27, 2023 –ZDF, one of the largest public-service broadcasters in the DACH region, has selected intive to work on the maintenance and enhancement of several .NET applications that support various areas of the business and planning stream. This acceleration of ZDF’s digital transformation will enable the broadcaster to manage its project-planning activities and daily business in a simpler and more effective way.
With a permanent staff of 3,500 and 2022 revenues reaching 2,402 million euros, ZDF one of the largest of Germany’s national public TV networks and one of the country’s leading sources of information. Following a Europe-wide call for tenders, intive has been awarded a 3-year contract, being fully responsible for the takeover, maintenance, and further development of several ZDF´s .NET applications.
By evolving these proprietary developments, intive experts will help to maintain and optimize day-to-day processes in planning, logistics and administrative environments.
Together, ZDF and intive will leverage the benefits of .NET apps, making project planning as seamless as possible. This includes solutions that cover the logistic orchestration of external productions - including guest services for the studios and duty schedule systems.
With its proven experience in creating cutting-edge digital systems, intive's engineering team will take care of software maintenance, administration services, and further development, involving interfaces with numerous products and services.
